JUNES MONTHLY ADDRESS

TO THOSE FAITHFUL WORKING OUT THEIR SALVATION

AT THE SPIRITUAL HOME OF HOLY TRINITY

In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit...

CHRIST IS RISEN!  INDEED HE IS RISEN!

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

The goal of the Christian life is to become like God, Who is the very essence of LOVE.  To do so we must learn to love as He loves.  Our whole outlook on life must change and our human will must be trained to submit to God's will. Before we can attain the heights of Divine Love, we must first attain the spirit of genuine HUMILITY, which St. John Climacus calls the 'door to the Kingdom' :

"anyone who has acquired knowledge of self has come to understand the fear of the Lord, and walking with the help of this fear, he has arrived at the doorway of Love. For humility is the door to the Kingdom, opening up to those who come near." (The Ladder of Divine Ascent)

With Love In The Risen Christ,

Father Lev
